On June 29, 2016, in the day of memory of the glorious Apostles Peter and Paul, a group of pilgrims from Alanya, headed by the Parish Priest of the Orthodox Church of Holy Mother of Pisidia Fr Constantine (Schevchenko) , went for the Divine Liturgy to the Church of St. Paul- St. Alypius in Antalya. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Metropolitan Sotirios of Pisidia, Fr. Michael and Fr Constantin.
This holiday coincides with another memorable date for Metropolitan Sotirios. It was June 29, 1956 he was ordained as deacon. Parishioners of Antalya and Alanya congratulated Metropolitan for his 60th anniversary of Priesthood.
After the Liturgy archimandrite Michael (Anischenko) invited the parishioners for launch.
On the way back the pilgrims visited the Archaeological Museum, where there is not only a rich collection of antique sculptures and other exhibits from different ages, but also a piece of the relics of St. Nicholas, ancient icons, holy gates of the old Greek Orthodox Churches of that area.
